The piece comprises of;

Fine ultra rare rubies from Lake Baringo, Kenya. A deposit well renown for material with exceptional colour and clarity. In fact it is the only mine with production said to rival the highly sought Burmese ruby in appearance.

These treasures are virtually impossible to get on international markets primarily due to limited access of outsiders by the very hostile tribes dwelling the region.

Green coloured grossular garnets are considered amongst the rarest in the garnet family which consists on 5 members. With best quality exclusively being found at the borders of Kenya and Tanzania.

Spessartite garnets are one if the only pure orange hued natural gemstones found. They come in various shade of orange.

These Garnets originate from the home of the Great Serengeti; Tanzania aka the land of Garnets. The large variatety found there is unlike anywhere else.
